Ismayilli Half Day Tour

The location of this region (Azerbaijani: “İsmayıllı Rayonu”) at the foot of the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus. It is the administrative center and city of Ismayilli region of Azerbaijan. The territory in the north of the country is from IV century BC. Up to was the part of Caucasian Albania. The remains of the medieval castle related to the name of Javanshir (VII century) ruler of Caucasian Albania. Currently, this site is in Talystan village of Ismayilli. Ismayilli region is rich in folk traditions. Lahij is a mountain village known in the 7th century. This is famous for its weapon and dishes made of copper. Here you can find different souvenir shops, art galleries, and cafes. Visitors can take a walk in the old village and shop for some souvenirs and after drive back to your place of stay in Ismayilli.
